When using word processing software one has to take into account what it can do for your classroom and if it will make things more efficient. Using word processing systems can save time in your classroom, enhance the appearance of the documents, and allow sharing and collaboration of documents between students. One of the major benefits is that your students attitudes and writing skills will improve. One of the problems is that the students will still need to check their spelling and grammar.
Spreadsheet Software
Teachers should use spreadsheet software because it can save them time, organize information, and increase the motivation to work with math. Spreadsheet software has been shown to improve and help students with subjects ranging from math to social studies. Your classroom productivity can increase by helping you prepare classroom materials and complete calculations quickly.
Presentation Software
Presentation software could possibly be the most beneficial to a classroom, but only if used correctly. It can help a teacher organize lessons, but you can also make them interactive and engage the students and make them a part of the lesson. Prezi, PowerPoint, and smart board software can allow the teacher and students to present information to a class while keeping them active and helping them retain the information longer. You cannot use a power point slide show to lecture information to students because they will eventually disengage from the lesson and be left behind.

All of these different kinds of software can be used within a classroom if a teacher thinks outside the box and allows students the time they need to be taught the proper use for the software.

I like that you talked about monitoring a teacher's class money, I agree that this software would be beneficial for tacking the money.

Also, I feel that is important that proper "PowerPoint" usage is important in maintaining the attention of your audience!
